Homework: Dear parents/ please assist your child with today’s homework.

Option 1:  Read the passage and answer the questions that follow:
George: "O.K. Someday—we're … gonna have a little house and a couple of acres an' a cow and some pigs…”
1.    What does George say he and Lennie will have some day?

Lennie shouted. "An' have rabbits. Go on, George! Tell about what we're gonna have in the garden and about the rabbits in the cages…
2.    What animal is Lennie really excited about?

 Lennie continues:  “and about the rain in the winter and the stove, and how thick the cream is on the milk like you can hardly cut it. Tell about that George."
3.    Mention 2 more things Lennie is excited about.

Option 2: Compare and contrast Arnold’s dream to George and Lennie’s.  Draw a t chart . Draw Arnold  and his dream on one side and Lennie and George’s dream  on the other.  On the bottom write down your conclusion: _______________’s dream is more realistic because_____________________.

Option3; People dream of many things: some big and some small, some realistic and others not realistic.  Do you think Goerge and Lennie’s dream are realistic? Explain how?’
