Today we learned how there are different situations in which people are put in positions where they need to survive. For Juliane and the victims of 9/11 it was a matter of life and death. For Lennie and George is was a matter of finding work and a place to sleep. Crook, who was an African American, had a place to stay and a job, but he was all alone because no one wanted to talk to him. His challenge was loneliness. Read the passage below and answer the questions using full sentences.
