HW Mr. Padilla Social Studies 10-6-15

Dear Parent/Guardians, 



Please assist your child with today's HW. Your child must chose 1 of 3 options below. Feel free to read passage together and discuss questions together. You may contact me with questions at: rpadilla@schools.nyc.gov 

Option 1: Use today’s vocabulary words as headline news. For each word use George and Lennie as examples.  You should have at least 5 sentences. Option 2:  One day you meet 2 strangers, their names are Lennie and George.  They tell you they are homeless but don’t tell you why.. Write a small paragraph in which you guess how they became homeless.

Option 3: You work for a newspaper. Your job is to design draw an image on the front page to get people’s attention. Create a drawing showing why people were left homeless.
