Option 1: Do
you think the American Dream is possible to attain? Explain why or why not. Give examples from the novel of
characters who have dreams. Do you think their dreams will come true? Why or
why not?
Option 2: What is the American Dream? Is it just one dream
or many? Can this dream ever come true? What is Lennie and George’s dream? What
is yours?
Option 3: Draw a poster of the American Dream. Draw Lennie
and George’s dream. Draw what you think this means and what your dream is? Make
sure to identify who every character is and what the dream is,
