Today we discussed the themes of Love and Hate in Romeo and
Juliet and West Side Story. We talked about how both feelings are very powerful
and how sometimes one feeling overpowers the other. \
Option 1: Base
response on today’s reading, discussion, personal experience and previous
knowledge.
Make a list of some examples of how love overpowers hate or
hate overpowers love. After you make
your list answer the question: What feeling is more powerful: love or hate?
Explain why. Use examples from the readings, today’s lesson and your own
experience or knowledge.
