Option
one: Choose an astronomer you have studied so far in our class or in one of
your other classes. For example, Newton, Copernicus, Galileo and Annie Jump. First
identify what he/she invented or discovered. What tools were used? Did this
person face opposition? Explain. Finally, we did you choose this astronomer?
Option
2: Draw a poster in which Newton, Copernicus, Galileo and Annie Jump
are all side by side. Label each person
by name and what makes them important.
