3.Name a technological innovation and list 3 pros and 3 cons about this invention. Based on your list decide id the invention is good or bad for society.

Dear Parents, 
Please review the three options for your child. Students need to choose only ONE option. 
1.Option 1: write a sentence for each of the following vocabulary words: Development; Suburb ; Manufacture; Evolve
2.Option 2: We have been talking about important inventions and how they evolved  over time (changed often for better). Think of an invention that has improved over time. The invention can be one that you have personally noticed how it changed. For example, phones. Television, internet, video games better. Write a paragraph discussing the change.
3.Option 3: You have been given the job of improving any technological invention that you want. It can be a car, plane, phone, a shoe, computer, ANYTHING. Chose a technology and draw something that does not yet exist. For example, glasses that can see as far a telescope or a car that can run without gas, etc. Explain you drawing.

Option 2: You are a scientist and a businessman (or woman). There is an invention you love and you think you can make it better. Mention the invention and why it needs to be better. How can you improve the invention.
Option 3: Galileo, Copernicus, Cannon, Hawking, Newton, Zuckerberg, aka, Facebook man and Bell, aka, I invented the phone. Which one of these individuals impresses you most? Why?Give at least 2 reasons.

Option 3: You are on a debate team. Video games are under attack. It is up to you to convince congress to not outlaw video games. How do you convince them that video games are a beneficial technology? What will you say?

Option one: Choose an astronomer you have studied so far in our class or in one of your other classes. For example, Newton, Copernicus, Galileo and Annie Jump.  First identify what he/she invented or discovered. What tools were used? Did this person face opposition? Explain. Finally, we did you choose this astronomer?
Option 2: Draw a poster in which Newton, Copernicus, Galileo and Annie Jump are all side by side. Label each person by name and what makes them important.
