¨Option 2: You’re job is to make a movie poster for a new Hot Zone movie that is better than Outbreak. You want your poster to convince people to watch the new movie. Draw a poster and using phrases to get attention.

Option 3: In one paragraph or in a drawing: summarize what you learned today in class. What, Who, Where, When and why? If you draw you must identify your drawing with captions.

ÊOption 1: You are a guest on a television show. You have been invited because you are an expert on novels. Pretend you love or hate the Hot Zone. In one paragraph compare it to another novel you love or hate.

ÊOption 2: Choose a theme we discussed in class today. Write a small paragraph in which you describe to someone who knows nothing about the Hot Zone  what is going on.

ÊOption 3: Write a paragraph or draw images about your favorite book so far. If you draw you must draw at least 5 images and a sentence for each. If you write a paragraph, share why you like this book, identify a theme in the book and give one example. 

ÊOpción 1: Usted es un invitado en un programa de televisión. Usted ha sido invitado porque usted es un experto en las novelas. Finge que amas u odias la Zona Caliente. En un párrafo compare esta novela con otra novela que amas u odias.

Option 1: Today we learned about Duty. Write about  two characters from any books you have EVER read or any movie you have ever seen. Who was the character? What was happening? What did this person do? Why?

Option 2: Write a paragraph about someone you know, family, neighbor, or friend, that full filled his duty. What did he/she do? And why? You may draw a comic or create a collage.

Option 3: Write a sentence for each of the following vocabulary words: Distressed ; relieve ; Alleviate; livestock ; steer

Option 1: In one paragraph: Compare and contrast two diseases that we have learned about in class this month. The choices are: Marburg, Ebola, The Black Death Yellow Fever, and Malaria.  You should use a Venn Diagram to help you organize.

Option 2: What makes a hero? What do heroes do that make them different to ordinary people? In the Hot Zone, Nancy Jax is a hero. Why? What other hero from our other novels reminds you of her? Why?

Option 3: Create a poster that warns people about the diseases that we have learned about. You know how to protect yourself and now it is your job to protect others. Include the disease, mention how the disease can hurt people, and mention how a person can protect himself.
